About

Our Story

Victory Meats is wholly Australian owned and operated. Established in 2007 as a butcher shop in Broadford, our business has now grown into a second retail shop in Seymour and processing facility in Broadford.  Our growth has all been made possible with the passion and dedication of our team of over 25 local staff.

Our success and growth stems from our true customer focus and drive to deliver the finest products to suit your needs.

We are entrenched in our local communities and support many charities and fundraisers.

We also love the grass roots events that get us close to producers, farmers and consumers. You can find us at the annual Seymour Alternative Farming Expo and the Elmore Field Days demonstrating butchery techniques.

Our People

Victor Bonacci started the business over 17 years ago. A Broadford boy with a true passion for his craft and always willing to share that passion with others.  Today Victor leads a team of butchers and operates not only the two retail stores but also works closely with wholesale and speciality customers.  If that isn't enough Victor even takes time away from his hectic work  schedule to be resident butcher at the annual Seymour Alternative Farming Expo's Country Kitchen and Butcher Shop, a commitment of several weeks in preparation and planning to don a head set and microphone with cameras focused on his skilled hands demonstrating specific butchery techniques to a large audience. In 2019 The Weekly Times introduces Victor as the new Expo meat smith via this article; If butchery's an art, Victor's a masterful artist. Due to the success of these butchery demonstrations Victor will also be attending the Elmore Field Days.
